For the large guys n gals we have fully insulated indoor units with heat pumps installed which are used to heat in the cooler months or cooled in the warmer months of summer. We also have outdoor covered units for those mild summer nights. There are double units to house the family groups that like to sleep together.
The little guys are well separated from the large guys, in their own fully insulated night pens with heat pumps installed which are used to keep them warm and cozy in the cooler months and they can be cooled in the warmer months if needed. The units are big enough to sleep 2 dogs for those families that like to stay together otherwise they can sleep side by side.
All bedding can be supplied or bring your own if you wish to but please no bean bags.
Exercise / Playtime
All dogs are exercised frequently through out the day in one of our 18 exercise pens / yards, weather permitting and under supervision. Exercise / play is normally in social compatible groups as assessed by us according to size and temperaments.
For those that like to entertain themselves or do their own thing, then we have enough yards to accommodate that as well.
All dogs are fed separately in the comfort and safety of their own individual runs.
Family units can be fed together under supervision or separated if required.
We feed your furry friends top premium quality dry food "Royal Canin" catering to all life stages or requirements, Senior, Puppy, Small Breed, grain free etc.
The Dry menu is also complimented with a portion of premium dog roll.
If your dog is used to a particular brand then you are more than welcome to bring your own. Here at Country Paws we will try to maintain the same feeding routine you have at home so if your dog is being fed twice a day then we can accommodate that as well.
Vaccinations & Kennel Cough
Your dog must be vaccinated against: Canine Distemper, Canine Hepatitis, Canine Parvovirus as well as a SEPARATE vaccination against Kennel Cough.
Before booking your furry friend with us, please check the date on their vaccination record card and bring this with you at time of boarding.
If you are in any doubt whether they are up to date, please check with your vet who can advise on this.
If your dog has not been vaccinated within the last 12 months then they need to be vaccinated at least 10 days prior to boarding.
We are unable to accept any dogs that do not meet these vaccination standards, so please, if you are in any doubt whether they are up to date, check with your vet as soon as possible who can advise you on this. Your dog may need a booster vaccination prior to boarding.
If your dog is on medication we can continue with attending to your dogs medical needs during their stay with us. Bring their medication with written instructions on dosage & timings. Also if your dog is on a prescription diet, we can continue feeding this to them. Please label all bags with name, amounts and frequency.
Worm and Flea Treatment
It is highly recommended that you Worm & Flea treat your dog at least 1 week before boarding with us.
Personal Pet Items
You are more than welcome to bring your dog/s own bedding, favourite toy etc, but please no beanbags.
This can help settle your furry friends if they are not used to the kennel environment. We will endeavour to look after and keep track of these items but as stated in our terms and conditions, we cannot take financial responsibilities for any mishaps.
If you have someone else collecting your pet/s for you, we will need your authority to release your pet and they will need to provide us with appropriate identification.
Thank you for entrusting us to care for your pet
